Yoko Littner is one of the main characters in the anime and manga series Gurren Lagann.
Yoko is shown to be calm and wise. Good-natured and sincere. Prefers to think over a plan of action before the battle. Yoko often becomes the “voice of reason” for Kamina and Simon.
After defeating Teppelin, Youko realizes that cruelty and insensitivity are terrible. She tries her best to protect all children from evil.
At first Simon liked Yoko. For example, when he lands face-first into her chest, she only smiles enigmatically. However, after watching Simon fight, Youko loses interest in him, deeming him weak, until he sees his true self. Gradually, she becomes more open towards Simon.
