Hellboy is a fictional character created by writer-artist Mike Mignola. He first appeared in the comic book “San Diego Comic-Con Comics #2” in 1993 and later went on to star in his own comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics. Hellboy is a demon who was summoned to Earth by the Nazis during World War II, but was rescued and raised by the Allied Forces. He works as a paranormal investigator for the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.), fighting against supernatural threats to the world. Hellboy is known for his large, red, muscular appearance, and his right hand, which is made of stone and possesses immense strength.
