Godfrey the First is an upcoming character in the action role-playing video game Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Godfrey is the first of the Elden Lords, a group of powerful beings tasked with keeping the world in balance. As one of the game’s major bosses, Godfrey wields a massive hammer and has control over fire, which he uses to devastating effect in battle. His backstory and motivations are not yet fully known, as Elden Ring has yet to be released.
