The Nostromo is a fantasy hyperdrive spacecraft from the 1979 film Alien. The name “Nostromo” is borrowed from the writer Joseph Conrad from the novel of the same name “Nostromo”. The name of the spaceship “Sulaco” was taken from the same story for the film “Aliens” in 1986.
