Trunks is a character from the “Dragon Ball” franchise, created by Akira Toriyama. There are two main versions of Trunks in the “Dragon Ball” timeline:
1. Future Trunks: Future Trunks is introduced in the “Dragon Ball Z” storyline. He comes from an apocalyptic future where the world has been devastated by the androids created by Dr. Gero, a former Red Ribbon Army scientist. Future Trunks travels back in time to warn the Z Fighters about the impending android threat and to seek their help in preventing the bleak future he came from. He is known for his signature outfit, which includes a Capsule Corp jacket, baggy purple pants, and a sword. Future Trunks is a skilled fighter and eventually becomes a valuable member of the Z Fighters.
2. Present Trunks: Present Trunks is born after the defeat of the androids in the main timeline. He grows up in a peaceful world but faces new challenges as he becomes involved in battles to protect the Earth from various threats. Present Trunks is known for his spiky lavender hair and is usually seen wearing Saiyan battle armor. As he grows older, he develops a close friendship with Goten, Goku’s youngest son, and the two of them often fuse together using the Fusion Dance technique to become Gotenks.
Both versions of Trunks are fan-favorite characters in the “Dragon Ball” series, known for their strong-willed personalities, fighting abilities, and contributions to the story’s epic battles. Their involvement in various arcs, including the Androids/Cell Saga and the Majin Buu Saga, has made them integral parts of the “Dragon Ball” lore and beloved by fans worldwide.
