Todoroki Shoto is a fictional character from the manga and anime series “My Hero Academia” (Boku no Hero Academia) created by Kohei Horikoshi. He is one of the main characters and is a student at U.A. High School, a prestigious academy for aspiring heroes.
Todoroki comes from a prominent hero family, with his father, Endeavor, being the second highest-ranking hero in the world. His father’s ambition was to create a child with a powerful Quirk (superpower) capable of surpassing All Might, the No. 1 hero. As a result, Todoroki’s Quirk is a combination of both his mother’s ice-based power and his father’s fire-based power.
However, Todoroki’s childhood was marked by an abusive and controlling upbringing, as his father saw him merely as a tool to achieve his ambitions.
