Thomas the Tank Engine, also known as Thomas & Friends, is a British children’s television show and book series created by Reverend Wilbert Awdry and his son Christopher Awdry. The show features a group of anthropomorphic trains and vehicles, including the titular character Thomas, who live on the fictional Island of Sodor and have various adventures and mishaps.
