Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an action-adventure game developed by FromSoftware and published by Activision. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 22, 2019.
The game is set in Sengoku period Japan and follows the story of a shinobi named Wolf. Wolf is on a quest to rescue his young lord, Kuro, from the Ashina clan. Kuro is the Divine Heir, a young boy who is the only one who can reverse the Dragon’s Heritage, a curse that has been afflicting Japan for centuries.
The game is played from a third-person perspective and features a focus on melee combat. Wolf can use a variety of weapons, including swords, spears, and bows and arrows. He can also use a variety of shinobi techniques, such as stealth, traversal, and grappling.
The game is known for its challenging gameplay and its focus on death. When Wolf dies, he is resurrected at the nearest Sculptor’s Idol. However, he loses all of his experience points. Wolf can regain his experience points by defeating enemies or by finding them in the world.
