Rogue is a Marvel Comics character who first appeared in Avengers Annual #10 in 1981. She is a member of the X-Men and has also been a member of the Avengers and the Brotherhood of Mutants. Rogue’s powers allow her to absorb the memories, powers, and physical traits of anyone she touches, but she must do so at the cost of temporarily rendering the person unconscious.
Rogue’s backstory involves her growing up in Mississippi as a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants before eventually joining the X-Men. She has had several romantic relationships over the years, including with fellow X-Men Gambit and Iceman. Rogue has also faced a number of challenges related to her powers, including struggling with the guilt of accidentally absorbing the powers and personality of Carol Danvers (also known as Ms. Marvel) and the difficulty of maintaining relationships due to her inability to touch people without risking harm.
Rogue has been featured in a variety of Marvel Comics media, including numerous X-Men comic book series, various animated television shows, and several live-action films in the X-Men franchise. She is a fan favorite character known for her complex backstory, unique powers, and strong personality.
