Oze Maki is a fictional character from the anime and manga series Fire Force, created by Atsushi Ōkubo. She is a second generation pyrokinetic, which means she can manipulate fire, but not create it. She is a member of the Special Fire Force Company 8, a team of firefighters who fight against spontaneous human combustion and other fire-related incidents. She is also a former soldier of the Tokyo Army, and has a strong sense of duty and loyalty. She is known for her muscular physique, her violet eyes, and her long dark hair. She often uses her fire ability to create cute fire creatures, which she calls sputters, and to control metal weapons, such as iron owls. She is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat and has a high physical strength. She is a kind-hearted and polite person, but she can also be fierce and stubborn when provoked. She has a crush on her fellow fire soldier, Shinra Kusakabe, and is a hopeless romantic at heart. She is sometimes teased by her teammates for being a “gorilla cyclops”, which makes her angry.
