Misato Katsuragi is a fictional character from the anime and manga franchise “Neon Genesis Evangelion”. She is the operations director at NERV, the organization responsible for fighting the alien beings known as Angels using giant bio-mechanical mechas called Evangelions. Misato is portrayed as a strong, independent, and often reckless woman who also has a caring and nurturing side. She serves as a mentor to the protagonist Shinji Ikari and has a close relationship with him throughout the series. Misato is also known for her love of beer, which is often depicted as a running gag throughout the series.
