Lobo, the Czarnian intergalactic bounty hunter, is known for his love of violence and mayhem. But did you know that he also has a soft spot for dogs?
In the 1990s comic book series “Lobo’s Back,” Lobo is given a dog named Dawg as a reward for collecting a bounty. Dawg is a giant, muscular dog with razor-sharp teeth and claws. He is also incredibly loyal to Lobo and will follow him anywhere.
Lobo and Dawg quickly become inseparable. They travel the galaxy together, fighting criminals and getting into all sorts of trouble. Lobo even lets Dawg ride on his motorcycle, the Spacehog.
Despite his tough exterior, Lobo clearly cares for Dawg. He even saves Dawg’s life on multiple occasions. In one issue, Lobo even takes Dawg to see the vet, even though he hates doctors.
Lobo and Dawg are an odd couple, but they are also a great team. They are both loyal to each other and they will always have each other’s backs.

In Lobo’s Back #1, Lobo saves Dawg from being killed by a group of criminals.
In Lobo’s Back #4, Lobo takes Dawg to the vet to get his leg treated after it is broken in a fight.
In Lobo’s Back #6, Lobo refuses to leave Dawg behind when they are trapped in a burning building.
In Lobo’s Back #12, Lobo kills a group of hunters who are trying to kill Dawg for his fur.
Lobo’s relationship with Dawg shows that he is not just a mindless killing machine. He is also a capable of love and compassion, even if he doesn’t always show it.
