He is one of the main characters and leaders of the Blue Lions house in the game. Dimitri is the heir to the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus and a childhood friend of the game’s protagonist, Byleth. He is portrayed as a serious and dutiful individual with a strong sense of justice and a desire to protect his people. Throughout the game, Dimitri undergoes a significant character arc, facing numerous personal and political challenges, and evolving from a stoic and distant character to a more compassionate and emotionally vulnerable one.
