The DESERT OF GIANT SKULLS release from Bestiarum Miniatures in August 2021 featured two tribes that live deep in the desert: the Keliterians and the Vaalakeri.
The Keliterians are scorpion-like creatures who expand the borders of their territories further and further, desolating villages of other races and building their nests under their remains.
The Vaalakeri tribes live on the peaks of the Hanging Canyons in harmony with the feathered race of giant Haasts and pray the gods they don’t take you as food for their pets.
The release included:
2 tribes with unique features:
Keliterians: scorpion-like creatures with chitinous armor and venomous tails.
Vaalakeri: humanoid creatures with feathered wings and long talons.
Modular giant Birds:
Armored and Wild versions of the Haast, a giant bird that is revered by the Vaalakeri.
Kitbash set:
A set of parts that can be used to create custom miniatures from the two tribes.
The DESERT OF GIANT SKULLS release was a popular one among fans of dark fantasy miniatures. The two tribes are well-designed and unique, and the modular giant birds are a great addition to any collection. The kitbash set also provides a lot of creative possibilities for miniature builders.
