Daredevil (English: Marvel’s Daredevil or simply Daredevil) is an American superhero television series created by Drew Goddard and based on the Marvel comic book character of the same name. The main character is played by Charlie Cox. It is produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios and is shown through the streaming service Netflix. Daredevil, like other series from Netflix, is officially part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) media franchise and is the first in a series of series to be combined into the crossover miniseries The Defenders (2017). The show will be directed by Stephen DeKnight, with Goddard serving as a consultant. All episodes of the first season premiered on April 10, 2015.
