Cobb Vanth is a character in the Star Wars universe who first appeared in the novel “Star Wars: Aftermath” by Chuck Wendig, which was released in 2015. He later appeared in the live-action Disney+ series “The Mandalorian” in 2020, played by actor Timothy Olyphant.
In the Star Wars universe, Cobb Vanth is a former slave who becomes the self-appointed sheriff of the town of Mos Pelgo on the planet Tatooine. He acquires a set of Mandalorian armor, which he wears as protection while carrying out his duties as sheriff.
In “The Mandalorian,” Vanth crosses paths with the show’s titular character, a bounty hunter known as the Mandalorian. The two initially clash over the ownership of the Mandalorian armor, but ultimately team up to defeat a common enemy.
