Toph Beifong is a beloved character from the animated television series “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” which originally aired from 2005 to 2008. In the series, Toph is introduced as a 12-year-old earthbending prodigy. Her unique ability to “see” the earth and sense vibrations through her feet, despite being blind, makes her one of the most formidable earthbenders in the world. As the series progresses, Toph’s character undergoes significant development.
However, as of my last knowledge update in September 2021, there hasn’t been an official continuation of the “Avatar: The Last Airbender” series that explores the older versions of the original characters, including Toph, in a sequel or spin-off series. The series has had a sequel called “The Legend of Korra,” which takes place several decades after the events of the original series and introduces a new set of characters.
It’s worth noting that the creators of the “Avatar” franchise, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, have expressed their interest in expanding the “Avatar” universe, so it’s possible that future projects may explore the older versions of the original characters, but any developments in this regard would have occurred after my last update.
