The Goonies is a 1985 comedy adventure film directed by Richard Donner. Written by Chris Columbus with a story by Steven Spielberg. This film is about a group of children from the Goon Dox neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon. The Goonies try to save the Goon Dox from destruction. To do this, they decide to find the treasures of the legendary 17th century pirate named One-Eyed Willy.
