Zergling (slang – doggy, dog) – ground combat unit of the zerg
Description
Small and aggressive sandrunners from the desert planet Zgash were assimilated to serve the Swarm. Zerglings, as they are called, are not much smarter than animals, but they fight well in large groups under the command of high zerg. Ravenous zerglings tear at the enemy with their fangs and sharp sickle-like limbs when they pounce on them.
The fight
They move at a fairly fast speed, great for reconnaissance. They attack with claws in melee, attack speed is high, damage is low. Like all ground zerg, it is capable of burrowing, with the appropriate upgrade.
